The Sacred Heart University Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) promotes excellence and equity in teaching and learning to enable all to reach their fullest potential as students and as instructors.

Integrated Model of Support

The Sacred Heart University CTL was founded in 2022 as an integrated scaffold of teaching and learning support. Its founding brought together instructional development for SHU faculty with academic support services for SHU undergraduate and graduate students. This integration provides meaningful opportunities for the learning experiences of our students to directly inform the professional and educational development of our faculty and staff.

Visit Our Space

The Sacred Heart Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) is located on the 2nd floor of West Campus’ West Building (3135 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT). Our center can be accessed via the double doors across from classroom W-218. Our main office entrance (W-223B) is on the right, just before the red wall and digital display.
