From her early days of running elementary school programming at nature centers and zoos, Amy has always found joy in helping educators connect with their students in innovative ways. After earning her Master’s degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology, Amy began her academic career as an Instructional Technologist, and later as Director of a Teaching Excellence center. While earning her doctorate at the University of Rochester, Amy honed her expertise in online teaching in addition to traditional pedagogical practices. Amy’s doctoral research focused on raising student voices, believing that to truly support student learning, we need to understand how our students are engaging with their learning environment.

Amy looks forward to consulting with SHU faculty in traditional, hybrid and online classroom environments.
