Elizabeth M. Luoma, Ph.D.
Office Location
As a Ph.D.-trained biologist with a decade of experience in educational development, Beth has a track record of creating and leading effective faculty development initiatives, guided by expertise in evidence-based pedagogy, equitable & inclusive teaching, and the science of learning. Her approach is directly informed by her teaching experience, including undergraduate and graduate courses at Yale and Southern Connecticut State University, as well as her own Catholic liberal arts undergraduate education at the College of the Holy Cross. She is deeply committed to social justice, student-centered learning, and education of the whole person.
