Sacred Heart University welcomes students from around the world.
Our students represent many countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada. Cameroon, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Vietnam and many others. We welcome you to join our international community. International students are eligible to apply to Sacred Heart University’s graduate programs if they have completed the equivalent of a United States bachelor's degree (approximately 120 credit hours) and have had their post-secondary academic transcript(s) translated by the World Education Services.
We have compiled many useful links here for our international applicants. Sacred Heart University classifies an international student as an individual who does not hold US citizenship or US Permanent Residency (US Resident Alien) and requires an F1 student visa. This includes students who are living and/or studying outside the US and students who are living and/or studying in the US at the time of their application for admission. If you have any questions, contact your International Admissions counselor.

As an international student, I wanted to enroll in a great public relations graduate program that was close to New York City so Sacred Heart was a perfect fit for me. The faculty, practical knowledge and the networking opportunities helped me land a job in NYC after graduation.
International students on an F-1 student visa are not permitted to enroll in online programs.
