Nursing, The Heart of Healthcare
SHU Giving Day is here!
The SHU community is coming together now through noon Thursday. Be a part of the impact and support what you love most. One Day. One Heart. One Community.

You will learn ways to succeed in nursing coursework, acclimate to our nursing lab, explore stress management techniques, participate in self-care activities and immerse yourself in community service. In addition, expect to embark on team-building and collaborative adventures that will awaken your mind, body and spirit.

As nervous as I was for pre-fall, it was all so worth it! I acclimated to the school a week before most of the freshman class even got there. Within that short time, I made connections and friendships so strong that they’ll likely last a lifetime. We did so many campus tours that, by the end of pre-fall, I knew how to get around campus and where my classes were. Hands-on activities gave me a chance to get to know staff and faculty and speak to my academic adviser before school started.
