Best Buddies

Best Buddies works to enhance the lives of those with intellectual disabilities. Through the club's efforts, they offer events on campus for our SHU students, create relationships, work to offer social engagements, play games, and provide an environment where all who are involved can interact with and learn from each other. They hosted the first annual Midnight Madness Treasure Hunt for Best Buddies International on the SHU campus in 2009. This event provided an entire day and night of fun for our SHU students and Best Buddies members.

Women's Political Engagement Commission | WPEC

The Women’s Political Engagement Commission (WPEC) is a bipartisan organization motivated to educate and engage women in our community. In an era of increasing polarization, we have noticed that other political and women-led clubs on campus lean one way politically, excluding an opposing view. We are a coalition of ambitious women who seek the amplification of our sister’s voices in politics and law regardless of their party affiliation.
