University’s DBA in Finance Program Ranks Among Top 10 in the U.S
The three-year program enables students to work full-time while earning a degree
Sacred Heart University’s doctor of business administration (DBA) in finance program has rated among the top 10 DBA programs in the U.S., according to Grad School Hub’s evaluation.
Grad School Hub gathers statistics about graduate programs so students can select a school with confidence. Its ranking of DBA programs is based on public data available from educational, commercial and government databases, including the National Center for Education Statistics and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. This information is then sorted into five weighted categories: academic quality, affordability, reputation, program offerings and online enrollment score.
Students enrolled in Sacred Heart’s DBA program acquire advanced knowledge in finance and gain research skills for conducting independent, complex, financial projects. They also obtain a global perspective on issues related to financial markets and institutions. The program is part of SHU’s Jack Welch College of Business & Technology, one of fewer than 5% of elite business schools worldwide accredited by AACSB International.
Students prepare and defend original dissertations based on research matching their own interests and career aspirations. The program’s unique, student-cohort model, hands-on learning laboratories and blended meeting formats encourage collaboration and networking.
“It gives me such pride to see our doctor of business administration in finance program receive the recognition that it deserves,” said Lucjan Orlowski, program director and professor of economics and finance. “Our faculty and students work tirelessly and set high standards for themselves, in turn earning the program such prestigious acknowledgement.”
