Applicants to the Master of Science in nutrition must meet the following requirements.
Application Process
All applications must be submitted through the Dietetics Inclusive Centralized Application Services (DICAS).
Application Deadlines
- Program Start: Fall (September)
- Priority Deadline: January 15
- Final Deadline: March 15 (or until filled)
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Early submissions are encouraged.
What You'll Need to Apply
- Completed DICAS application
- Official transcripts
- Résumé/CV
- Personal Statement (750–1,000 words)
- Three letters of recommendation
Program Admissions & Special Requirements
- 8 credits in Anatomy & Physiology (A&P I and II with Lab)
- 4 credits of General Biology I (with lab)
- 3-4 credits of Organic Chemistry or Biochemistry (with or without lab)
- 4 credits of General Chemistry with lab
- 3-4 credits of Microbiology (with or without lab)
- 3 credits of General Statistics
- 3 credits of Introduction to Nutrition
- 3.0 average GPA in pre-requisite courses
