Sacred Heart University is making it easier for community college students with associate degrees to transfer to the University and complete a bachelor’s degree full-time or part-time.

CT Transfer GuaranteeWhat is CT Guarantee?

Sacred Heart University has joined the New England Independent College Transfer Guarantee program, also known as CT Guarantee. The CT Guarantee is a transfer partnership between CT community colleges and participating four-year colleges and universities. Eligible community college graduates are able to transfer seamlessly: Admission guaranteed when you meet the requirements listed below.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this partnership, applicants must have attained: 

  • An associate degree from a CT Community College obtained through the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) transfer system
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5

Financial Aid & Scholarships

All applicants are encouraged to submit their FAFSA for financial assistance consideration.

Students in the CT Guarantee program who enroll at SHU full-time may be eligible for the following scholarships and grants:

  • Merit scholarships, awarded at the time of admission
  • Pioneer Service Grant for Fall applicants
  • Theatre and Performing Arts Grant for applicants interested in extracurriculars in theater, band, choir or dance
  • Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) scholarship for applicants in the PTK honor society
