Animal Care Technician
This position requires a student to ensure that animals (rats & mice) are provided food and water in their cages, rehouse animals into clean cages when they get dirty, and clean dirty cages. No remote work.

Responsibilities
- Provide food and water to animal cages (twice a week)
- Rehouse animals into clean cages when they get dirty (once a week)
- Clean dirty cages weekly

Psychology Department Student Ambassador
Student must be a psychology major and available to hold in-person office hours 3-5 hours per week. In addition to supporting the department administratively, we are seeking someone who is comfortable discussing their experience at SHU & within the psychology department to new faculty, prospective students and at open houses.

- Supporting the psychology department administratively
- Helping faculty with projects
- Promoting the psychology department at open houses and attending psychology events
- Meeting new psychology faculty and prospective SHU students interested in psychology
- Representing the psychology department when needed including meeting with consultants about the SHU psychology program

Work Study Office Assistant
General office work supporting department administrative assistant and faculty. Psychology major preferred.
Location
There are no remote work assignments.
Responsibilities
- Errands on campus - bringing supplies or mail to other departments across campus
- Shredding and general office work
- Assisting faculty with course material creation (copying, course projects)
- Help with faculty research material (copying and stimuli creation)
- Assist clubs/organizations during events (Psi Chi and PS Club)
- Attend events to represent psychology department (i.e., open houses, admitted students days, etc.)
Expected Hours
4-6 per week
