Athletic Training Room Assistant - Club Sports
The athletic training room assistant for club sports will help athletic training staff with student registration, website information updates, scheduling, and clinic maintenance. Professionalism in interaction with staff, students, and parents is necessary. The athletic training room assistant must maintain confidentiality of information and follow HIPPA regulations in regard to medical information.

Responsibilities
- Check students in and out for their clinic appointments
- Assist students with club sports registration
- Help maintain cleanliness and ensure policies and procedures are followed in clinic
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Club Sports First Responder
The club sports first responder will be responsible for attending club sports practices and games as assigned. The will provide first aide, activate the emergency action plans, and complete incident reports as needed. First Aide/CPR/AED certification required for this position. Hours will be nights and weekends.

Club Sports Game Operations
Club Sports is seeking event staff, game operations work study students. This position is perfect for students with an interest in sports, hospitality, and sport management majors. The event staff are expected to show punctuality, reliability, the ability to follow instructions, and pay attention to details. Students in this position will assist with game day management as well as the setup and tear down of Club Sports athletic contests.
Responsibilities
- Game day set-up/break-down
- Performing needed task during club sports games as dictated by each sport
- Escorting of referees to the playing surface before, during intermissions, and after games
- Preparation of the facility prior to the start of the contest including but not limited to the field setup and running the score boards
- Weekends availability required
- Customer service
- Other duties as needed

Esports Lounge Attendant
Oversee the esports lounge to ensure a clean and safe environment. Ensure that equipment is well maintained and handled properly and student behavior aligns with the lounge rules.

- Assist students with games and equipment
- Manage equipment

Intramural Officials
The Intramural Official work-study position provides students with hands-on experience officiating recreational sports competitions while supporting the daily operations of the intramural program. Students are responsible for enforcing rules, maintaining a safe and fair playing environment, and managing game activities such as scorekeeping and timekeeping. The role requires strong communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills to effectively interact with participants and address game-related issues. In addition, officials assist with event setup, equipment management, and facility operations to ensure a positive experience for all participants. There is no remote work assignments for this position.
Responsibilities
- Officiate intramural sports contests by enforcing league rules, maintaining fair play, and ensuring participant safety.
- Manage game operations, including scorekeeping, timekeeping, equipment setup, and pre-game inspections.
- Resolve participant questions and conflicts in a professional manner while promoting sportsmanship and positive competition.
- Assist with facility preparation, equipment distribution, and post-event cleanup to support efficient program operations.

Pioneer Lanes Assistant
Do you love bowling and have free time at night and some weekends? Work at Pioneer Lanes - SHU's 6-lane blowing center. Some knowledge of bowling is helpful but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Assign lanes, shoes, bowling balls
- Sanitize all equipment & touch points
- Wipe down all surfaces before, after and during open hours
- Make sure all the guests are using the facility correctly

Res Hall Gyms
This is a great job if you love the gym and want a job right in your residential hall! You will be overseeing the res hall gym to ensure it is clean and safe. No remote work offered.
Responsibilities
- Check students into fitness class or events
- Maintain a customer-friendly environment
- Enforce gym rules & policies
- Maintain a safe and clean facility by doing rounds – walking through facility to wipe down equipment, pick up accessories, clean up minor spills, etc.

The Sim (Golf Simulator)
If you love games and sports and enjoy engaging with students, the Sim can be a fun place to work. We are looking for reliable students willing to assist with game set up and play.

- Assist with game selection

- Vacuum the area at the end of the night

This type of work will be hands on dealing with camera equipment and iPad technology. Will also use YouTube as a platform for streaming. This position does not offer remote work.

- Video editing not needed but encouraged
- Background with camera usage preferred
