SCMA students have the opportunity to participate in a number of extracurricular activities on campus including media organizations that allow them to apply their coursework outside the classroom and gain valuable hands-on experience in their field of study.

The SCMA student organizations produce news stories, publicity campaigns, magazines, movies, and art in addition to hosting events, taking field trips, and networking with industry professionals.

Art Club

The Art Club at Sacred Heart exists in order to allow SHU students a platform to express their creativity through art while learning, sharing, and communicating with other artists. We provide a safe space in order to give art majors and non art majors the opportunity to create works of art without fear of judgment or critique. The students who participate are able to learn new techniques through meetings that demonstrate the use of different art mediums and tools.
