How can Gen Z  shape the world around them when it's their turn to do so.

What is one favorite quote or idea of yours from any class you've taken in the foundational core?

"A person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about except thoughts. So, he loses touch with reality and lives in a world of illusion." -Alan Watts.

I have seen and heard this quote many times, and as someone whose mind races constantly, I understand it...somewhat. I try to piece it together. Do I live in a world of illusion like the Matrix or something else? It's complicated and confusing but so easy to understand at face value.

What are you most excited about for the future of the Pioneer Scholars?

I'm most excited to see the successors of my current cohort. I want to meet and discuss the tough topics that my class covers every class meeting, whether political, ethical or whatever else is on our minds.
