What is your intended majors in the College of Arts & Sciences?

Biology & Biochemistry

What is a big question that you think the liberal arts help us to explore?

I feel the big question is why things happen. We figure these things out through art, literature, mathematics, science and so much more. This gives us an understanding of why the things that happen in this world take place. The cool part is that so many of the topics in liberal arts can be connected to each other to provide a deeper explanation to how our world works.

What is one favorite quote or idea of yours from any class you've taken in the foundational core?

I liked the idea that shared goals have the best possible outcome when you work with other people and, further, that an ideal team is an interdependent team.

What are you most excited about for the future of the Pioneer Scholars?

I’m looking forward to seeing the other Pioneer Scholars succeed in their studies. I am also excited to see whatever the future brings us throughout our time at Sacred Heart University.
