American Medical Student Association | AMSA
The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Club seeks to engage students pursuing a future in the medical field. AMSA Club is open to all full-time undergraduate students on the pre-medical track and strives to provide students with resources that will help them gain as much experience in the medical field as possible. In addition, students will be able to discuss important information regarding medical school applications, the MCAT and other imperative components required for medical school.
Pre-Dental Club
Sacred Heart's Pre-Dental Club is a club for those who wish to make it into dental school or have a passion for dentistry. Students get information about the preparation of an application to dental school.
Pre-Pharmacy Club
With the Pre-Pharmacy club, students on the same track can find others in their same position, setting a new precedent of consecutiveness for incoming freshman and transfer students. This club allows for a community catered to pre-pharmacy students, allowing us all to learn from and support each other.
Pre-Physical Therapy Club
The Pre-Physical Therapy's club aim is to provide any full-time undergraduate student pursuing physical therapy school with information on graduate programs, with volunteer opportunities in the local area and to set up a mentorship with older and graduate level students. Students with any undergraduate major are welcomed to join our club.
Pre-Physician Assistant Club
The Pre-PA club is an Undergraduate student club that helps students learn more about the occupation, interact with current physician assistants and prepares them for exams and other requirements for physician assistant schools.
Pre-Veterinary Club
Sacred Heart's Pre-Veterinary Club is a club for those who wish to make it into veterinary school or who simply like animals. Students get information about the preparation of and application to veterinary school. They can also connect with others who are applying. Other important aspects of this club besides preparing for veterinary school include fundraising, volunteering and trips to various animal-related locations.
