The Campus Life Leadership Awards celebrate the phenomenal contributions Sacred Heart University students make across campus and within the greater community through their involvement in and out of the classroom.

The Pioneer Awards

These four awards are given to first year, sophomore, junior and senior students who have contributed greatly to the enhancement of the SHU community through their roles as leaders and continually go above and beyond expectations. In addition to their campus involvement, they foster positive relationships with the campus community and their peers.

A cumulative GPA of 2.5 and full-time undergraduate standing are required.

While these six leadership awards are based on nominations, there are numerous departmental awards to recognize students and organizations in their efforts on campus. These departmental awards are given to those who excel in their leadership roles on campus, whether individually or as an organization. Participating departments include: Varsity Athletics, Club Sports, Performing Arts, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Volunteer Programs & Service Learning and Campus Ministry, among others.
