Kappa Alpha Theta
About Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 by four pioneering young women at Indiana Asbury, now known as DePauw University, in Greencastle, IN. Our core purpose is to support our members to learn, grow and excel throughout their collegiate experience and beyond. For over 147 years, Thetas have lived the same motto – perseverance, independence, faith – created by our founders as a guiding light for the Fraternity.
