Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) was founded in 1856 at the University of Alabama and is the newest addition to Fraternity Life at Sacred Heart. With over 350,000 initiated members, it is one of the largest and oldest college fraternities in the United States. Known for its slogan, "The True Gentleman," SAE encourages its members to stay true to the values of friendship, leadership and academic excellence.
