Sacred Heart University's campus is home to six fraternities and eight sororities. Each of SHU's chapters is unique in its own way, founded on core values to guide members towards excellence. Our chapters provide thousands of dollars each year to charities that are directly connected to respective philanthropies––through on- and off-campus events, community service and organized fundraisers.
Interfraternity Council
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is a self-governing body that represents Sacred Heart's six fraternities. The council also works together to help the entire Greek community in areas of recruitment, scholarship, philanthropy and social events.
Panhellenic Council
The National Panhellenic Council is the unifying and coordinating body of the sorority community at Sacred Heart. It is composed of representatives from each of our eight sororities. The National Panhellenic Council strives to promote leadership for women, diversity, academic achievement and service through relationships within the Panhellenic and Greek communities and beyond.
