Film Club

Here at the film club, we strive to open the minds of students at Sacred Heart University through a variety of films. We also plan to create short films. If you're a movie lover or a lover of creating films, we welcome you.

Her Campus

Her Campus is the #1 global community for college students. Written entirely by college journalists, Sacred Heart's chapter of this national organization features style, beauty, health, love, life, career, LGBTQ+, and real world content, supplemented by Sacred Heart students themselves. In addition, Her Campus offers programming, tools, and events to fulfill it's mission of serving college students across every platform.

Sports Media Club

The Sports Media club is a great way to get involved if you love talking about sports. We do podcasts over zoom which get uploaded to iTunes and YouTube. The sports media club will help those students that want to get involved. And there’s more to the club than just on camera! You can work behind the scenes as editor and producer of the podcast. Hope to see you there.

The Pulse

The Pulse is a student run production with three full-time student staff members serving as the executive producer, two student producers, along with students from TV News Magazine Production II class who produce weekly stories and columns, which we call, "Heart Beats." The Pulse is a showcase for university and local community stories and images. It serves as a venue for quality programming packaged in a digital video format that is currently distributed across multiple platforms such as Channel 3 television, The Open Student Television Network (a college only internet TV channel), the SHU website, iTunesU and its very own "Pulse" website. The Pulse is a video news magazine that will engage Sacred Heart University students, faculty and staff, and serve as a shining example of our student’s creative skills and talents for those outside the SHU community. So tune in Sacred Heart!

The Spectrum Newspaper

The Spectrum provides the weekly University newspaper.  They are responsible for establishing and maintaining an atmosphere of free and responsible discussion on campus.  The paper is a means for bringing student concerns to the attention of the faculty and in aiding the students in formulating opinions on various issues.
