Assistant Professor of Business Analytics Weijia Peng earned her Ph.D. in economics from Rutgers University, where she also obtained an MS in statistics and an MA in economics. She has published in leading academic journals such as Finance Research Letters and Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Series C. Peng serves as a referee for Q1 journals and has acted as a guest editor for the Journal of Risk and Financial Management. She has presented her research at international conferences, including the AI Era in Finance Symposium and the Annual Wolfe Global Quantitative and Macro Investment Conference. Peng is actively engaged in interdisciplinary research and has collaborated with leading scholars and industry professionals on projects involving financial market volatility, macroeconomic uncertainty and applied machine learning.
