Timothy M Reilly, Ph.D
Office Location
Dr. Timothy Reilly studies marketing, primarily in the areas of consumer behavior, consumer psychology, sustainability, environmental marketing, and ethics. His dissertation focused on investigating how consumer’s respond to hearing negative news about a company – and the ways they go about assigning fault for negative events.
Dr. Reilly has published in journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Advertising Research, and the Journal of Macromarketing. Prior to earning his Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska, Dr. Reilly worked as a television news and sports producer. He grew up in Bozeman, Montana.

Teaching Responsibilities
Dr. Reilly has primarily taught Consumer Behavior and Marketing Research over the past several years. He has also at times taught Principles of Marketing, Marketing Distribution Channels, and Sales Force Management.
Awards and Fellowships
Dr. Reilly is currently working on several projects in the area of sustainability, consumer decision making, mixed methods research, and consumer information processing. He has presented his work at a variety of national and international conferences.
