Dr. Shuang Wu holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Stevens Institute of Technology, with research interests spanning financial intermediation, FinTech, ESG, and consumer finance. Dr. Wu’s work addresses critical environmental and social challenges, including welfare-enhancing carbon credit pricing, retail investor behavior on peer-to-peer platforms, mobile banking’s impact on financial stability, and the role of AI-driven data centers in local communities. Her research has been published in the prestigious Journal of Corporate Finance. At SHU, Dr. Wu teaches undergraduate courses in Financial Management and Intro to Business Analytics.
