Rich Marcello currently serves as an exercise scientist in the Pioneer Performance Center. His clinical and research interests include strength and conditioning for aerobic athletes, as well as biomechanics. Marcello formerly held the role of clinical exercise scientist and instructor at SHU before becoming a collegiate cross country and track & field coach at SUNY Oneonta, Quinnipiac University and Southern New Hampshire University where we was awarded the Division 2 East Region Cross Country Coach of the Year in 2022. As an undergraduate and graduate alum of SHU, he was a five-year member of the track & field and cross country teams.
