Rebecca D Wetmore, BS, RT(R)(M)(ARRT)

Rebecca Wetmore, BS, RT(R)(M)(ARRT), is an assistant clinical professor in the radiography program at Sacred Heart University. She has four years of experience in medical imaging, including three years specializing in mammography. Prior to joining Sacred Heart University, she worked as a radiologic technologist and mammographer within the Yale New Haven Health System, where she provided high-quality, patient-centered care in both hospital and outpatient breast imaging settings while mentoring radiography students during their clinical education.

Wetmore is passionate about radiologic sciences education and preparing the next generation of imaging professionals. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that builds student confidence, critical thinking, professionalism, and compassionate patient care through the integration of classroom instruction and clinical experiences.

A two-time Sacred Heart University alum, Wetmore earned an Associate of Science in radiography and a Bachelor of Science in exercise science before returning to her alma mater as a faculty member. She is proud to educate future radiologic technologists while supporting the University's mission of academic excellence, service, and community engagement.
Wetmore is an active member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and is committed to lifelong learning and the continued advancement of the radiologic sciences profession.
