Dr. Michael Gorman comes to Sacred Heart University from Rutgers University. Prior to this he worked in consulting for several years, helping pharmaceutical companies with challenges relating to big data, specifically within sales and marketing.

- MS in Statistics from Purdue University
- Undergraduate degree in Management Science from Lancaster University in the UK
Teaching Responsibilities
Michael teaches financial management and international financial management at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Research Interests & Grants
His research is primarily focused on asset pricing. For his dissertation he worked on the asset pricing anomaly of momentum, and analyzed the extent to which trading on momentum might still be profitable in the US equities market, and how momentum may previously have been measured with bias.
