Marianne has experience in evaluation and treatment of adult neurological communication and swallowing disorders in a variety of settings. These include: Acute Care, Short Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient and Home Health Care.

  • B.A. Psychology – Boston College
  • M.S. Speech/Language Pathology – Syracuse University
  • NY State License - Speech/Language Pathology – 1984-2017
  • CT State License - Speech/Language Pathology – 2017- Present
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) – 1984- Present
  • VitalStim Therapy certified since 6/30/13

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Adjunct Clinical Supervisor for the Sacred Heart Adult Cohort
  • Provide clinical supervision for off site SNF and on site adult clinical experiences including:
    • Aphasia Clinical Intensive Workshop
    • Interdisciplinary Stroke Group
    • Aphasia Group
  • Facilitator for the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) class
