Lena Paslov is a Sacred Heart University alumnus, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Sociology, in 2012.  She also holds a Master of Arts in American Studies from Fairfield University.  

She is a member of the National Society for the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Beta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma—an honor society of women educators.

Her research interests include young adult literature, witchcraft in literature, history, and popular culture, gender equity, and genealogy.
