Dr. Bryant joined the Psychology Department at Sacred Heart University in the fall of 2023, after a 4-year appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at College of the Holy Cross. She completed her bachelors’ degrees in Psychology and Communication Disorders at Southern Connecticut State University and her MS and Ph.D. in Psychology (developmental concentration) at University of Connecticut. Her research examines cognitive development in infants and young children, including the neural correlates (EEG) of early social cognition. Dr. Bryant is especially interested in executive functions—processes that help us control our thoughts and behaviors—and looks forward to pursuing behavioral and psychophysiological research in this area.
