Kevin Bowlyn, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Office Location
Computer Science & Engineering
West Campus East Building E-1060
Dr. Kevin Bowlyn joined the School of Computer Science & Engineering at Sacred Heart University in the fall of 2018. His current research interest is focused on a more efficient method for computing a fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm using complex binary number systems and implementing circuit design on a FPGA-based board. His research interests are in digital hardware design, digital signal processing, low area-power circuit designs, embedded systems, and computer architecture. Dr. Bowlyn is a junior member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is currently the IEEE student faculty advisor for the student chapter, here at Sacred Heart University.
