Professor Keith M. Zdrojowy M.A.T. is an Alum of Sacred Heart University with a Bachelors of Media Studies and a Masters in the Art of Teaching. In his professional career, Keith has worked in a variety of media jobs including as a Production Assistant for NPR affiliate station WSHU, and in the video department for Subway. Keith also has a background in IT as a computer technician which comes in handy in his current role as the Studio Manager for SCMA. In 2005, he also started his own video production company which is still active today and has seen many current and former SCMA students get hands-on experience working at live events.
As Studio Manager, Keith maintains the broadcast studios and control rooms in the Maritre building, and the Pitt center control room used for broadcasting sporting events. He is also responsible for the equipment checkout room which supplies camera and audio equipment for student projects, and for the computers and software in the labs, editing rooms, and media clubs.
As a Professor, Keith teaches the CM 102 Intro to Media Productions and CM 228 Radio and Podcasting Journalism classes at the undergraduate level. In the BJP program, he teaches the CM 563 Social Media and Journalism class. And for students, he is the go-to person with tech questions from equipment to software.
