Dr. Keevia Porter is certified as a family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Dr. Porter's clinical practice includes treating physical and mental health illnesses in adults and children. Her areas of interest include underserved populations, decreasing mental health stigmas, social determinants of health, and the effectiveness of cannabis in the treatment of PTSD. Dr. Porter is an active board member of the Tennessee Nurses Association and the Association of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, American Psychiatric Nursing Association, The American Nursing Association and The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Memphis chapter.
