Research Interests and Grants
Dr. Trudeau’s primary research is in the field of health economics with a focus on infant and maternal health. Her research has explored a range of factors that influence individual behaviors and health outcomes, ranging from sun exposure, to media depictions of teen pregnancy, to insurance mandates contained within health care reform. She has presented her research at conferences including the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management, the American Society of Health Economists and the Eastern Economics Association meetings. Her work has been published in the International Review of Administrative Sciences, the International Journal of Public Administration, and the Southern Economic Journal.
