Jennifer is an enthusiastic arts professional with a lifelong passion for music, inspired by her mother, a piano teacher. Growing up in a musical household, she developed a deep love for the arts, leading to a rich background in both performing and teaching. She has been involved with the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps since 2006, starting in the color guard before transitioning to baritone, and currently serves as their Assistant Director. She has also taught color guard at several high schools across Connecticut, including Brookfield, Wethersfield, and now at Cheshire. Beyond her work with marching arts, she plays euphonium in the Plainville Wind Ensemble and serves on their Board of Directors.
With 15 years of experience in technology operations, Jennifer has developed strong skills in organization, project management, and process improvement. She is now channeling these skills into the field of arts management, where she combines her strategic mindset with her passion for the arts. Currently, she is pursuing dual MPA and MBA degrees, specializing in nonprofit and arts management, to deepen her expertise and further her impact within the Connecticut arts community.
