Gregory Berry

Cybersecurity expert Greg Berry spent 12 years as the Cyber Security Officer for Odyssey Group, one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance and specialty insurance operating through five Divisions: North America, Latin America, EuroAsia, London Market and U.S. Insurance. During his tenure, Odyssey experienced zero data breaches.

Greg has more than 30 years in IT, where he worked primarily in the Healthcare, Insurance, and Government spaces, including four years as an independent security consultant. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (sub-specialty in Security) from NSA-certified Capella University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma. He holds certifications from ISC2 and ISACA, including the prestigious Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) designations.

A requested guest speaker at industry events, such as the New York CIO/CISO conference and vendor roundtables (Varonis and KnowBe4 among others), Greg readily shares his years of experience with audiences.

Previously, Greg spent 20 years in military service, as a United States Marine, serving in various U.S. and Far East locations.
