Originally from Mexico, Gabriela Pavon, LLM, received her Licenciatura en Derecho from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and her Master of Laws from Pace University. She joined the Sacred Heart University as an adjunct instructor in 2003.
She serves as the Board Secretary to Groundwork Bridgeport, a community based non-profit organization with a mission to improve the overall well-being for residents of communities in Connecticut. She also works as an interpreter and translator mostly in medical and legal settings.

Teaching Responsibilities
Gabriela Pavon, LLM, has taught a wide variety of classes in Spanish at all levels, and has developed new courses, among them Literatura y Cine Hispano, Medical Spanish and Spanish for the Health Professions. She also teaches Critical Thinking and works with students pursuing independent studies.
