Elizabeth is very passionate about teaching and believes strongly in creating an atmosphere in her classes where students feel comfortable in and embrace the many stages of learning that occur between initial intake and mastery. In her research, she applies tools from Evolutionary Game Theory to better understand a small region of the brain that controls our wake/sleep cycle.
