Fr. Dan  is a practitioner and scholar whose research and work interests have centered around healthcare administration, academic medicine and higher education program monitoring and evaluation. Prior to SHU, Fr. Schieffler was instructor of public health policy and global health risk assessment at NYU. He has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare administration and health education.

His research centers on issues in academic medicine and mental health burden in faith-based communities.
