Christopher Grundy received DM and MM degrees in Vocal Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and a BA from Yale University. He is an operatic bass-baritone with extensive performances throughout North America and Europe in opera, oratorio, and recital. He made his Carnegie Hall conducting debut in 2024. Grundy is Director of Music at the Unitarian Society of New Haven. He serves on the executive board of the Connecticut chapter of the American Choral Directors Association and of the Neely Bruce Music Foundation. Previously he served on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford. He is also an experienced commercial helicopter pilot and flight instructor.
