Ashley M. Morin is a historian of modern Ireland. Her research focuses on the Troubles, with a particular emphasis on localized and community-based initiatives. She earned her Ph.D. in 2024 from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and has previously taught at the State University of New York at Buffalo and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She teaches Western Civilizations II and courses on Irish history, modern Europe, and women's history. She is currently working on transforming her dissertation into a monograph. This project explores cross-community peace efforts during the Troubles as part of an ongoing social peace process amidst the conflict. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Modern European History and edited volumes on women and gender.
