Amie Souza Reilly publishes both creative nonfiction and fiction. Her book Human/Animal: A Bestiary in Essays (Wilfrid Laurier University Press, 2025) was a finalist for the Big Other Book Prize and was listed as a Best Book of Creative Nonfiction 2025 by Electric Literature and a Favorite Book of 2025 the Washington Independent Review of Books. Other work can be found in Orion, Literary Hub, Ms. Magazine, Electric Literature, The Chestnut Review, The Adroit Journal, Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies, and elsewhere.
