Adrienne Oliveira, DPT, is a board certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy with a passion for neurologic, orthotic and prosthetic rehabilitation, honored to have served in this arena throughout her entire career. She holds over 20 years combined experience serving as the prosthetic and orthotics clinic coordinator at two reputable acute rehabilitation hospitals in the Northeast, and 16 years teaching in two Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. Her clinical experience, rooted in acute neurologic rehabilitation, crosses multiple settings, including acute care, intensive rehab, subacute care, home health and outpatient thereby enriching the depth and breadth of her skillset.

Oliveira is deeply committed to professional development, service and advocacy. She presently holds the elected positions of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Consumer and Care Partner National Campaign co-chair and the Connecticut American Physical Therapy Association Neurology Focused Interest Network secretary. She has held previous service roles at Sacred Heart University, including the elected position on the Adjunct Council Leadership Committee. Oliveira is an avid supporter of the limb loss and limb difference community. She has aided with advocacy work via the Connecticut Amputee Network and the So Every Body Can Move national campaign. She is the creator of a non-commercial educational blog dedicated to providing orthotic and professional resources to patients and providers.
