CT Pink Boots Society Scholarship for Women in Brewing
About the Scholarship
The CT Pink Boots Society Scholarship for Women in Brewing was established in 2021 by Back East Brewing Company and the Connecticut Chapter of the Pink Boots Society as a way help increase opportunities for females in a male-dominated industry. This annual scholarship supports female students enrolled in the brewing science certificate program, which is housed in the College of Arts & Sciences at Sacred Heart University. Priority consideration is given to Connecticut residents demonstrating financial need.
Scholarship Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, student must be a woman, defined as those that identify as female or non-binary, admitted to the Brewing Science program, with priority consideration given to students demonstrating financial need as determined by submission of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). A Brewing Science certificate program Scholarship Application interest form will be posted to all admitted students in their SHUAward portal under the “My Documents & Messages” tab. The deadline for submission is March 15th. Students applying for the scholarship will be contacted for an interview.
