We celebrated our dedicated friends and community members at the 2025 Pioneer Scholarship Gala.
John M. Vazquez MBA ’93, Chairman of the SHU Board of Trustees and Executive Vice President Corporate Real Estate, Wells Fargo, along with Charlie Baker, NCAA President and former Governor of Massachusetts, were recognized at the event, held at the Martire Family Arena. Over 400 alumni, parents, students and friends gathered in a true show of Pioneer pride and generosity, raising over $660,000 to support student scholarships—an extraordinary testament to what we can achieve together.
Honored friends and supporters at 2024 Pioneer Scholarship Gala
SHU Trustee Doug Kennedy ’78 MBA ’82, president & CEO of Peapack-Gladstone Bank, and journalist, author and CBS 60 Minutes Correspondent Scott Pelley were honored at the 2024 Pioneer Scholarship Gala at the Martire Family Arena. More than 350 guests attended the annual event, celebrating increased philanthropic resources for SHU’s scholarship programs.
SHU celebrates 60th anniversary at 2023 Pioneer Scholarship Gala
More than 400 guests attended the 2023 Pioneer Scholarship Gala, formerly the Discovery Gala, at the new Martire Family Arena. The event acknowledged increased philanthropic resources for SHU’s scholarship programs and honored University friends Linda McMahon, a SHU Board of Trustees member, and Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company. The gala also served as the official kickoff to SHU’s 60th-anniversary celebrations.
