University of Notre Dame, Fremantle - Spring
Liz Bickett | Psychology
Hi! My name is Liz and I am a senior psychology major with a minor in business analytics and honors. I studied abroad in Fremantle, Australia, a small beach town outside the city of Perth in western Australia. Studying abroad at the University of Notre Dame Australia was hands down the best experience of my life. I love going to the beach, reading, exploring, making new friends, trying new things and going to new places. My time in Australia was full of all these things and more. I went to Australia with two other Sacred Heart students who I did not know prior to our departure orientation and now, I couldn't imagine not being friends with them and the others I met while abroad. It is such an amazing opportunity that I think everyone should take part in–whether you go to Australia or not–but you should totally go to Australia!!

While studying abroad, I got to travel around Australia and visit a few countries in Southeast Asia and still stayed on track with my courses! I met so many people from all over the world and learned a lot about other countries and cultures. Australia is very far and can be intimidating, but it is a once in a lifetime experience that teaches you so many life lessons. I would recommend that everyone tries studying abroad!
