The SHU delegation will be partnering with the Institute of Technology of Costa Rica (TEC) at their campus in Limon, Costa Rica. University students from Limon will be joining the SHU delegation for a week of volunteer activities in the community of Rio Peje.
This is a hybrid online/on-ground seminar course that includes a one-week field laboratory experience in Costa Rica. This course will focus on applying the concepts of biological and environmental science to research questions and real-world problems in tropical areas of the world.
