While there are exciting things always happening on campus, some of the most exciting moments are our campus traditions. Take a look below to learn more.

Just SHU It Fair

The Just SHU It Fair happens the first week of each semester and is a chance for undergraduate students to find their home at Sacred Heart by joining any of the over 60 student-run clubs and organizations.

President's Gala

The President's Gala, hosted by President Petillo, is held each fall semester as a welcome to the start of the academic year. This is a dress to impress event and students are encouraged to dance the night away in semi-formal attire.

Family Weekend

Family Weekend brings Pioneer families together to spend time on campus, attend events and explore the local area.

Fall Fest

Each year the Student Events Team (SET) kicks off the fall season with food trucks, inflatables, make and takes, giveaways and more. The theme changes yearly to enhance the excitement of overall event.

Pioneer Nation

Pioneer Nation brings music artists to Sacred Heart's campus for a one night concert, only open to our current students each spring.

Campus Life Leadership Awards (CLLAs)

The Campus Life Leadership Awards celebrate the phenomenal contributions Sacred Heart University students make across campus and within the greater community.

Spring Fest Carnival

During the last weekend of the spring semester, the Spring Fest Carnival is held to wrap up the school year. Students are invited to ride, play and taste all the games, food and rides at Sacred Heart's own carnival. This end of semester event is held in collaboration with the Student Events Team (SET).

Senior Week
