​How to Look Up Course Offerings

Course offerings can be viewed on the Student Planning & Advising (SPA) portal. 

Students, Faculty & Staff

  • Log into SPA
  • From the homepage, select "Course Catalog"
  • The next screen provides the opportunity to search by course subject or use the Advanced Search tab for more options

Guests

  • Visit SPA
  • The screen provides the opportunity to search by course subject or use the Advanced Search tab for more options

Searching for Courses

Courses can be searched by availability, subject, location, terms, days and times, instructors and more. 
  • Filter the list by using at least two selections in the left navigation bar and then select the search button
  • Once the list is displayed, select "Section Name " to see additional information about the course section

Book Information

To view information about course materials, such as book requirements as well as suggested ones, select a course section, then choose the "Bookstore Information" link in the Books section. You will be brought to the SHU Bookstore with information displayed regarding the specific course section selected. Books can be purchased directly from this site.
