JED CampusIn January of 2022, Sacred Heart University demonstrated its commitment to creating a supportive campus environment and culture of emotional well-being by signing on to become a designated JED Campus.

JED Campus is a nationwide initiative of The Jed Foundation (JED) designed to guide schools through a collaborative process of comprehensive systems, programs and policy development with customized support to build upon existing student mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention efforts. JED Campus schools embark on a strategic partnership with JED that assesses and enhances existing work and helps to create positive, lasting, systemic change in the campus community.

The SHU JED Campus Team, comprised of faculty, staff and students, is working to research, design and implement these changes within the JED Comprehensive Approach model.

Press Pause

Press Pause is a project from The JED Foundation and powered by PINK to help us get creative, curious, and consistent about taking care of our mental health. Sometimes we think of mental health only as the difficult things – stress, anxiety, or conditions like depression. And there are simple things we can do to help protect our mental health and boost our moods whenever we need to. This site contains tips and video experiences that can help us do that…anywhere, anytime.
