K-12 Programs
SHU student volunteers are a valuable resource to Bridgeport public schools, providing much-needed support to teachers and students. Volunteers are exposed to the realities of an inner-city classroom, while gaining valuable experience in the field of K-12 education. SHU student facilitators help to coordinate these opportunities by organizing volunteer sign up, transportation and activities.
Sign up for all K-12 programs can be found weekly on Mondays in the Office of Community Engagement.
